It is with great pleasure that we announce the program of the II POWER Conference, to be held on October 11, at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this event Ariana Sim\u00f5es de Almeida<\/a><\/strong> will bring a deep reflection on the challenges and achievements in the fight for Gender Equality.<\/p>\n

Manuela Doutel Haghighi<\/a><\/strong> will discuss the importance of female leadership in business and the economy.<\/p>\n

ISEG professors Pilar Mosquera<\/a><\/strong> and Helena Jer\u00f3nimo will speak on the topic “Gender equality in Portugal \u2013 inviting to party, but not to dance”, offering a reflection on the future.<\/p>\n

The event will also feature the presentation of the “FedEx Access Award” winning students in Gen-E 24, highlighting innovation in the early detection of breast cancer.<\/p>\n

Professor Filipe Alfaiate will speak on the topic \u201cEntrepreneurship and Gender Equality – Justice or Opportunity for Development?\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, there will be an award ceremony, recognizing the outstanding achievements of the participants.<\/p>\n
